We thought you might be interested in hearing about some productions, both local and surrounding areas, that are due to take place over the coming weeks – mark your diaries!

 

KMDS present ‘Red Roses & Petrol’  17-20 October 2012, nightly at 8pm.  This year’s play is directed by AIMS award winner and society member, Marie Kelly. Red Roses & Petrol is Joseph O’Connor’s first stage play. Our Cast: Moya Doyle: Yvonne Ramsey; Medbh Doyle: Carmel Voelkin; Catherine Doyle: Sinead McLoughlin; Tom Ivers: Robbie Atthill; Johnny Doyle: Shane Stone; Young Moya: Aoife O’Neill; Young Enda: Phillip Darragh; Enda Doyle: Chris Ramsey.  We would really appreciate your support to promote your society’s first production of the season.

Bradán Players present ‘How I Learned to Drive’  10-12 October, nightly 8.15pm, Draíocht Studio, Blanchardstown. Directed by Pat Dwyer.

Teresa Brayton Players present ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ 10-14 October, nightly 8pm, Newtown Hall.

Pioneer Musical and Dramatic Society present ‘The Music Man’  23-27 October, nightly 8pm, Draíocht Theatre, Blanchardstown. Directed by Phillipa Alford.  AIMS multiple award winning actor Michael Evans, will play the title role of The Music Man aka conman Harold Hill and AIMS award winners Jean Sweeney, John Furlong and Valerie Andrews,  together with an experienced cast will bring to life this all singing all dancing musical set in River City, Iowa.

Clane Musical Society present ‘Sweeney Todd’ 29 Oct-3 Nov, nightly 8pm, The Abbey, Clane.  This production also includes members of KMDS: Peter Manning (as Toby), Sharon Murphy (as Beggarwoman), Lorraine Murphy (directing this year’s KMDS panto), Pamela Killick (playing Jill in this year’s KMDS panto), Fiona Shirran and William Lacey (both on stage with us for Oklahoma!).  Great to see the ‘twining’ of local musical societies!
